C&R Woodcrafters offers custom made wood switchplates. Choose from Maple, Birch, Cherry, Bamboo, Red Oak, Alder, Ash or several dozen other wood species. Switchplates can be made either unfinished or finished. Finish options include 20 popular Minwax® stain colors, clear coat finishes in satin, semi-gloss, or gloss sheens, or a tung oil finish. Phone jack, CAT5, and cable configurations will come with the jack hardware. Switchplates are made with a vertical running grain and can be made up to 8-banks wide in any cutout configuration you would like. There are also 4 specialized edge choices to select from. Shown first are the 20 available Minwax® wood stains. These are the same Minwax® colors that are available in quart cans in retail home improvement stores. If you need additional stain to match, you can pick it up locally.

Definition: A rich, penetrating, oil-based stain, Minwax® Wood Finish™ Stain is available in 20 wood tone colors and can be used to enhance any bare or stripped wood surface.

SPECIAL NOTES:
a) As computer monitors vary, so will the contrast in the color images below.
b) As wood and wood species vary, finishes will vary from species to species.
c) Applying these wood finishes to light color wood such as maple, pine, birch, etc, the results will be close to what is shown. Applying them to dark woods such as walnut, mahogany, etc. will be a completely different outcome.
d) A clear coat finish will be applied after the wood finish. Satin sheen is the default, but you can specify satin, semi-gloss, or gloss.

If you would like to order ONE custom made knob, cabinet handle, switchplate, cabinet door, or anything else, Eclectic-ware has no minimum order. When you are not certain, it is best to order one or two first.
