Granite knobs Designer knob page
~ detailed photos of the designer series knobs 1-1/4" diameter, 1-1/8" projection (height)
|
On this page you will see 8 examples below of the Designer Knobs to show the 8 metallic finish options. Then we will show all the
same metallic bases with the different granite colors. The desinger knobs have a granite disc inserted into a goblet style base. You
will see the metallic portion on the edge of the knob. It is like a metal ring displayed around a granite edge. Part numbers (for the base shown) and granite names are below each image.
Part number coding works like this: TIS-BN.BB (TIS) = Turned In Stone identification; (BN) = metallic color of base; (BB) = granite name, Baltic Brown in this example.
There is no additional letter designation for the designer knob. Other Turned In Stone part numbers have extra coding.
Since we are showing the granite knobs in only one base color, PLEASE REMEMBER to alter the part number in the metallic identification to reflect the base color you would like. Codes are:
AB for antique brass; AC for antique copper; AP for antique pewter; BB for burnished brass; BN for black nickel; CH for polished chrome; PB for polished brass; and SN for satin nickel. Satin
nickel is the best compliment to stainless steel. TIS-PB.(granite color code or name) polished brass TIS-CH.(granite color code or name) polished chrome TIS-AB.(granite color code or name)
antique brass TIS-BB.(granite color code or name) burnished brass TIS-SN.(granite color code or name) satin nickel TIS-BN.(granite color code or name) black nickel

These are the standard granite colors that Turned In Stone purchase the granite to use. If you would like to supply your own granite
to be used, the stone or granite tile thickness can be from 3/8" thick up to 1-1/4" thick in order to make the designer series style
knobs. A wide range of thicknesses can be used to make the designer knobs. Thus the greatest number of granite color choices are available for this design.
Some pictures still need to be added and we will add them when photos are available. All photos are from Turned In Stone.
Note: colors on your monitor will vary. Some images show glare due to lighting and camera flashes. SPECIAL NOTE:
ALL TURNED IN STONE GRANITE KNOBS AND HANDLES COME STANDARD POLISHED. THEY ARE NOT JUST LACQUERED OVER, THEY ARE REALLY POLISHED. AND NOW TURNED
IN STONE WILL OFFER ALL KNOBS AND PULLS IN A HONED FINISH. A HONED FINISH IS SMOOTH, BUT NOT SHINY. IF YOU WOULD LIKE THE HONED FINISH, IT IS VERY
IMPORTANT TO STATE SO WHEN ORDERING. OTHERWISE, THE GRANITE PRODUCTS WILL BE MADE WITH THE STANDARD POLISHED FINISH. |
All of our Turned In Stone pricing is discounted. We have structured our pricing to be competetive.
On larger orders of 50 or more combined pieces, we can extend an additional 5% discount. |

CUSTOM ORDERS (matching or supplying your own stone):
You can supply a small sample of your stone for Turned In Stone to match to. OR, if you would like to supply your own stone to have an exact match to your counter top, you can. The following conditions must be met
however.
In order to make any of the flat ferrule style knobs, your stone MUST BE 3/8" thick (1cm). 3/8" tiles can be used. For the 6 new diamond ferrule knobs, your stone needs to be at least 3/4" thick and up to 1-1/4" (3cm). In order to make the designer series knobs, your stone can be anywhere from 3/8" to 1-1/4" thick. In order to make the designer series handle or the Big or Small mushroom knobs, your stone MUST BE 1-3/16" to 1-1/4" thick. These are the only thicknesses Turned In Stone can work with. For the Architectural Series, Turned In Stone needs to evaluate a small piece of your stone first to see if it can be fabricated for these designs. For the AA, AB, and AC designs, 3/8" thick tile is used. For AD through AJ 1-3/16" to 1-1/14" thick slab is used. A special exception for 3/4" thick stone: 3/4" thick granite can be used to make parts AA, AB, AC, AD, AE, and AF. The first three will end up thicker than pictured on the Architectural Series page and the latter 3 will be a little less tall. At this time, customer supplied stone cannot be used for towel bars, TP holders, and towel rings.
