We will place ordering links on this page should you determine what you need. We will also add dimensional info. Pricing as shown on the Series 700 page is also shown below. Complete color selections are found on the two color
To start off this page, the model 730 towel bar posts come in approx. 120 colors. We do not have a picture of every color, so we can offer just a generalized visual.
A few more colors we had the opportunity to take a photo of. Go to the colors page to view the color numbers and names. All the towel bars shown in the previous two pictures are shown on the colors page.
On the 700 Series page, we showed you just the top views of the 4 mounting methods. Here are the back views too.
About the mounting methods:
The BA730 thin-set mount: It must set into a 5/16" deep or slightly greater depth inlay. Many people have referred to this as a recess mount. That terminology is not correct. Thin-set basically gets put in place where a piece of tile has been omitted, and thus it attaches to the same wall surface that the tile is attaching to. And it can be applied using the same adhesive. The 5/16" projection on the back is not the full size of the back. It is 2" x 4", and thus the full width and height of the post does overlap adjacent tiles and grout lines.
NOW, we have heard many stories about thin-set mount pieces mounted in drywall. The drywall is carved out, and the posts fit into the divot. Well, that was not the proper application for the thin-set mount. It can work, but it may not work indefinitely. And it is not very strong. Clip on mounted posts are recommended for drywall applications.
The BF730 flat back mount: Designed to be glued onto ANY flat surface. Glue them over tile, wood, drywall, green board, or sheet rock. Flat back does not require the same inlay opening as thin-set. Flat back is great as an afterthought mounting. When you or someone who just tiled your wall would like to add a towel bar, you can do so with the flat back without having to chisel out any tiles. It saves time, and saves a lot of muscle work.
The BC730 clip on mount: Great for drywall or wood walls. Can be used on tile too if you wish. Each BC730 towel bar set comes with two mounting clips, plastic anchors, and screws. The clips go on the wall first, the posts slide down over them. On tile, you would need to drill into the tile with a ceramic tile drill bit, and then definitely use the plastic anchors. A screw pushing against the plastic anchor is better than a screw pushing against ceramic tile. Less chance of breaking the tiles. You will hold the bar between the posts as you slide the second post down on the clip. Very easy to install, make sure your clips are on the same horizontal line.
And the BM730 mud set mount: Popular with professional tile setters, and it does require a 1-1/4" or deeper hole to set into. Commonly put in with a mud pack (mortar). Very common on sheet rock. And, we do have to say, some installers cut holes completely through drywall and mount these into drywall. Again, not the prescribed approach, but it can be done.
The model 730 towel bar assembly used to come only with a 24" bar. Now you can select from 12", 24", 30" or 36". Bars are white or clear plastic. They can be cut down to size, so you are not stuck with those sizes. If you need a 21-1/2" bar in your shower, cut it down to that. Bars can be cut with a hack saw, or other saw that you are comfortable with. We have used our small powered miter saw to cut them - slowly so they do not chip.
The C1, C34, C144, and M66 white colors will come standard with a white bar. All other colors come with the clear bar. The 24" is the default bar size. If you need the 12", 30", or 36", you must state so when ordering.
Now with 4 mounting methods, 4 bar lengths, two bar colors, and 120 ceramic colors, we could create 3840 individual part numbers, but we are not insane.
Towel bar posts nominally are 2-5/8" wide by 4-3/4" tall, and project from the wall 3-3/8". Sizes can vary by 1/16" to 1/8" depending upon clay density and firing times. The plastic bars are 3/4" square and fit into the towel bar posts in the diamond configuration. This means a corner of the squareness is up, not a flat side. This actually allows towels to be pulled off easier.

HOW TO ORDER: or call us at 813-633-7544
Select from the part numbers written just above. Prices are shown in those blocks of text too. PLEASE WATCH which mounting method you select. Mounting methods were described higher up on this page.
Remember to complete your part numbers with the color code of your choice. All towel bars are available in about 120 colors. You can view colors at this page when you need to see them. There is also a color by number cross reference chart.
The 12" towel bars have been made available to use in lieu of a towel ring. Short towel bars near a bathroom or kitchen sink for hand towels were popular in the past and may become popular again. A 12" towel bar can even be mounted to the backs of cabinet doors. There are several uses for one.
The other lengths of plastic bars can also be subbed out in the 500, 800, and 900 series towel bars too.
Towel bars coordinate with all the other ceramic bathroom hardware.
In the 700 Series all items come in all colors and in any quantity that you like.
For the BA730, BF730, and BM730 there are no distinct left or right sides. The posts can be mounted as either side. But on the BC730, there is a distinct left and a distinct right. The posts slide down onto the mounting clips and they come with little L and R stickers on them so you do not mix them up.
Repairing a broken post:
We encounter many people who have one broken post for the towel bar in their bathroom. All too often, it is a thin-set one glued into tile. Many people ask us if we can sell just one post. We cannot. We have to offer them by the set. With 4 mounting methods and 120 colors, we could end up with a lot of half sets that we may never sell again. So posts are available by the pair only. We can sell them without the bar if requested. But they must go out the door as a pair of posts. When ordering a "towel bar assembly", quantity one means two posts and the bar.
Additionally, although what we have might look like a match to your other half still stuck in the wall, it might not be. Always best to replace them as a pair. Now you very well could have the AC Products brand already in your bathroom and luck out and just have to replace the one post. But do not presume so.
When you chisel out your broken towel bar post(s) to re-create the hole for them to fit into, do use caution to not break your tile. Another method is to just level off the surface it came out of, or fill it in smooth, and then use the BF730 flat back posts. There are several tricks.
Can I buy just one post?
Sorry, we have to offer them as a set of two because that is how they are purchased. With potentially over 400 choices, we could end up with a lot of mismatched sets by letting them go out one post at a time. We can omit the bar from the order if you like, and then the pricing shown will be $4 less for the assembly. If you do not want a bar, and just the pair of posts, on our order form in the comments field, please write: NO BAR, POSTS ONLY.
Globby glaze inside square hole:
A few times a year we are told about "globby glaze" inside the square hole that the plastic bar slips into. This has happened only on the white and bone color pieces, and it is rare. The white and bone glaze colors are thicker and thus excess glaze can get caught in the square openings. If you find that the bar will not sit deep enough into the opening, there are a couple of things you can do. 1) contact us and we will have a replacement sent. or 2) the squareness of the bar end can be filed down to create rounded corners on the bar, thus enabling it to sit deeper into the posts, since the glaze catches in the corners of the square opening and rounds the opening a bit.
If you are looking for the spring loaded end towel rod to slip between two posts glued to the wall, go to this web page for information: Lenape Re-Place-A-Bars
But, if you are just looking for the AC Products plastic bars by themselves, without posts, we can offer them that way. Here are the part numbers and pricing. Part numbers are self-explanatory.
