Windsor Maple miter corner beaded panel door from Woodmont Doors
The Windsor Maple style is one of two that comes with a beaded plywood panel. The Windsor Maple will come with a slab drawer front if you need any drawer fronts. The Windsor5 will come with a matching 5-piece beaded panel drawer front. For the Windsor RRP Maple door, that will come with the BD solid wood panel.
As with any Woodmont Door, you can order these unfinished or prefinished in one of the 15 Maple finish colors. Additionally, most doors can come glazed. Glaze catches in the nooks and crannies and gives the door more of an antique finish look. On beaded panel doors, there are a lot of places for that glaze to catch. You can create all kinds of looks with wood stained doors and dark glaze, or even some of the dark finishes with the pewter color glaze. You want the glaze to contrast and thus stand out.
The other door design with a beaded panel is the Danbury5 Maple.
Minimum door size 6-1/2" w x 6-1/2" h
Minimum drawer front size 6" w x 3-1/2" h
Minimum drawer front size 6" w x 3-1/2" h
3/4" thick 2-1/8" frame with BEADED plywood panel
Was referred to as the old Woodmont 362-B-CLB door and 500-CLB slab drawer front.
The CLB edge is square on the side and back, but has a drop and wave on the front.
Available in all 15 maple colors shown below.
If selecting the Windsor5 Maple (5-piece matching drawer front 362F-B-CLB), minimum DF size is 6-1/2" x 6-1/2".
And if selecting the Windsor RRP Maple, this will use the solid BD beaded wood panel. Minimum door size becomes 7' x 7".
The beads on the solid BD panel are deeper than the beads on the plywood panel. If considering ordering cut to size plywood as the beaded plywood, best to get the doors with the beaded plywood panels. That way everything will match exactly.
The BD panel is not an option on the drawer fronts.
When ordering any of the solid paint colors, the BD panel will be MDF. With the translucent stains, it is solid maple.
Profiles: 162 miter frame, beaded plywood panel, CLB edge. (Or BD panel for the RRP choice.)
Then you can tap or click the colors after that to see the full size Windsor Maple door and drawer fronts with their color names.
Windsor5 Maple door and drawer front design
There is another option to the Windsor design. The Windsor5. The 5 after the name means that the drawer front choice comes as a matching 5-piece drawer front. So if you would like a 5-piece MATCHING beaded panel drawer front instead of the slab front, select the Windsor5 Maple when you start your quotation request or order. A picture of the Windsor5 design is shown next.
For the 5-piece drawer front, the minimum size requirement is 6-1/2" x 6-1/2". Thus if you require any less in height, you would need to order the slab drawer fronts.
And when ordering a drawer front of equal width to mount above a base cabinet door, the bead lines will line up from door to drawer front, as long as both are equal width. If you have an extra wide drawer front that spans over 2 doors, the bead lines would be shifted a little.
If requesting glazing on beaded panel doors, the glaze will catch in the bead lines.
