Prior to this update to our Siro Designs section of our web site, these six knob and pull collections were shown on individual pages. Not everyone saw all the choices as they would flip through some pages but not all the pages. And we were asked, what else do you have that is colorful. So we put them all in one place. The Botanico knobs are ceramic. The Butterflies, Caribe, and Flowers are high strength Polyresin. The Decco knobs and pulls are translucent ABS plastic. And the Popsicle knobs, the best choice for young children, are made from rubber. There will be a lot of themes going on within this web page. We have had many customers use these knobs in kitchens and bathrooms, as well as in nurseries and other furniture that you would want to personalize for young children. They are FUN knobs. And you can mix and match them. Throw a few turtles there, put a starfish two doors over, add a seahorse, mix up your butterflies. If you are looking to add color, here's your one-stop web page to do so.
Another note about Siro. We have offered Siro Designs hardware since we launched our web site in Dec. 2000. Their collections have grown over the years. Some have been slimmed down, and some have been discontinued. Our web site has undergone various changes to keep up with these changes. By creating this web page and throwing similar collections together, we hope to promote a better web experience for you.
In most every Siro catalog graphic, you will see measurements for the knobs and pulls written near one of the pictures for each grouping of items. Sometimes there are several finishes available per piece. So the measurement per
piece is listed once. Sometimes there are several sizes of handles so the measurement guide lists the sizes that remain a constant for the handle, then the paragraph shows changes in length (OL), or center to center (CC). If you
have questions, you can e-mail us via our contact form.
The Siro Botanico Collection is incredibly colorful. I think it is competing with that 128 pack of crayons. Ceramic knobs in a lot of shapes and a lot of colors. Some look Moroccan, some look Indian, some look like circus colors. A couple look like Grandma's old cookie jar. These are really neat little cabinet knobs. Where to use them - we will let your imagination answer that.
The Siro Butterlies Collection is ... a bunch of butterflies. We have all seen theme. We marvel when a colorful one flies by. We will sometimes follow them around the yard. I have one dog who does this. (And he thinks they hide in the ground because that is where he last saw their shadows go.)
Back to the subject. Extremely colorful, full shaped butterflies. And different varieties. Not just one mold painted 11 different ways. Look at the wings, they all have a unique pattern. And look at the angle view of the one mounted in the demo picture. They have depth to them, they are not flat. Another nice thing, you do not need to mount them on your cabinet faces 100% up and down. Tilt them a little to give a showing of a butterfly in flight. Something else to use your creativity. Told ya this page was fun.
If you want to get really crazy, mount a few to a wall surface here and there. Why limit them to just a cabinet door? (If mounting to a wall, an M4 metric hanger bolt will work nicely.)
Colors can vary as coloring is hand applied.
The Siro Caribe Collection, take a dive under water. Colorful fish, shell, and aquatic life cabinet knobs. These have always been popular for sea side homes in warmer climates. But if you live in Montana and would like to use them, we will let you. Add a little color to your bathroom. Give it warm thoughts of the Caribbean. As with the butterflies above, if you choose to mount these knobs with slight angles to them and mix it up a bit, it gives the illusion of real life a little lift. Kids will love these too.
The Siro Decco Collection is ABS plastic, fully translucent. Light will pass through them and create reflections on your cabinet faces. A good way to accent existing colors in a room. Most likely better suited for lighter background colors. On wood grain surfaces, they might not give you the effect you are going for. So on solid laminate, RTF, or painted surfaces that are light colored, these are nice pulls. Can be used in a kid's room, and not just for little kids. These are a little more grown up. Nice for food serving carts too as the plastic is very easy to clean. You have options for them.
The Siro Flowers Collection is just as nice as the Butterflies shown above. Very colorful flowers in full shapes and all kinds of different shapes. They have 3-D depth to them and represent real life nicely. Can be used in any room of the house. On cabinetry, dressers, and other furniture. Use your favorite flower or mix them up as you like.
Colors are hand applied and can vary. Just as no two flowers are exactly alike.
The Siro Popsicle Collection is our best offering for young children. The knobs are made from rubber, no sharp edges. If they get bumped into, they will not break. And they promote colorful good feelings. They are happy knobs. No set theme from knob to knob except that they are bright and cheerful. For both boys and girls, very nice for dressers or drawer banks in your kids rooms. And, something that you will most likely replace in 5 to 8 years. They are definitely suited for young children. Can be used as gift items too. We have so few products on our web site that are good gifts. So when we come across one, we point it out.
