Stylish 700 Series Ceramic Hanging Hooks

Old description: There is one ceramic hook design in the 700 Series. A rounded corner square base with a protrusion that comes out and then turns up 90 degrees with a nice nub end on it. But of course it comes in 3 mounting methods. We have always called it a robe hook. But it seems to be used for a lot more than just robes. If you have towels with the eyelets sewn into the corners, you can hang a towel on it. When the robe hooks are mounted in the shower area, scrubbing brushes, scrubies, and washcloths are hung on them. The clip on version of the hanging hook can be used behind doors on on the back of a door, or in entryways or lockers. Hang a shirt or coat on them, use them in other areas of the home. ACP went out of business in November, 2022. Production stopped, they sold off excess inventory for 5 weeks, and in December, 2022, closed up shop entirely. Since November of 2022, we have been selling off our towel bar inventory and the inventory we were lucky to grab before their demise. As of January, 2024, we low inventory on the robe hooks, most in oddball colors. It is worth looking through the color drop down menus to see which items we have. We might surprise you and fill your need. Items completely gone are steadfastly being removed from our web pages.

Sadly, the Lenape Pro Series does not have a hook option.

AND the good news: Lenape will be making the BA753 and BC753 robe hooks in white, black, and bone. We are estimating that they will be available in the Spring of 2024. And in abundance! This note will be updated as the boat gets closer.

The hook is made from ceramic. So anything extremely heavy would not be advised to be hung on them. Shirts, jackets, hats, a purse, all of that is fine. But if you keep 25 pounds of quarters in your purse, we would not recommend hanging that purse on this hook. Most likely they are designed to hold about 20 pounds, but no need to test the limit. Most damp full size mens terry cloth bath robes might end up weighing up to 10 pounds. Lightweight or silk bathrobes might weigh 2 pounds. A Loofah might weigh one pound when rung out.

The BA753 thin-set mount:

It must set into a 1/4" deep or slightly greater depth. Thin-set is the popular choice for new tile walls. Cut a tile to leave an opening, set the protrustion on the back of the robe hook into the hole. It can be adhered using the same tile mounting adhesive. The 1/4" projection on the back is not the full size of the back. Thus the full width and height of the base can overlap adjacent tiles and grout lines. Some installers will mount the hook centered or somewhere within a tile, intead of on a grout line.

The BF753 flat back mount:

Designed to be glued onto ANY flat surface. Glue them over tile, wood, or sheet rock. Flat back does not require an opening to set into. Flat back is great for a currently tiled wall surface. If you do not want to cut your tile and install a thin-set mount, you can glue the flat back to any position on the tile. Be aware that super smooth glossy tile like glass, may need to be scuffed up a little in the bonding area for a greater hold with the adhesive.

The BC753 clip on mount:

Designed for drywall and wood walls. Can be used on tile too if you wish. Each BC753 hanging hook will come with one mounting clip, plastic anchors, and screws. The clip goes on the wall first, the hook slides down onto it. Very easy to install.
